Al Hijaz is a community mosque in Auckland that welcomes people of all ages and cultures. Our mission is to provide a safe and inclusive space for worship, education, and community building. We strive to promote Islamic values of compassion, kindness, and social justice.

WHAT WE DO

The Al Hijaz Trust was formed over two decades ago to serve the religious and spiritual needs of the Muslims of New Zealand as well as to promote social harmony and cohesion in the diverse population of New Zealand. Over the years The Al Hijaz Trust has organised and co-sponsored many initiatives to achieve these goals in New Zealand.

With the Grace of The Almighty and the support from the community at large The Al Hijaz Trust, is pleased to announce the acquisition of a strategically located site in Mount Roskill area of Auckland. This site will now be a permanent base for the various initiatives that The Al Hijaz Trust proposes to launch in pursuance of the above objectives.

To provide a platform for the responsible dispensation of Islamic Law within the framework of the civil laws of NZ.
To actively promote an environment of social harmony and cohesion in New Zealand.
To counter all forms of extremisms that aim to threaten the domestic, social and political fabric of New Zealand.
