Al Hijaz Masjid
Trust proposes to construct a multi-dimensional building
At the heart of this building, will be The Al Hijaz Masjid.
The Masjid
In order to fulfil the Vision, the Trust proposes to construct a multi-dimensional building at the site situated in Mt Roskill. Masjids generally, in recent times, have confined their function to the provision of congregational ritual worship and periodical religious programs. Educational facilities are ancillary and seldom follow a structured path.
The Trust recognises the need to revive the true function of the Masjid, namely as a vibrant pivotal point for the community in all aspects of their lives, individually and collectively. Historically, it was only when the Masjid performed this vital function, that every element in society felt they were able to reach to it in the event of their difficulties and personal development.
The Al Hijaz Masjid looks forward to providing
